Overview: Full-time, Continuing position Salary Academic Level B ($110,868 - $131,659) + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements Based at the Bundoora campus.
About the Role The Lecturer is expected to contribute to the teaching and research efforts of the School, in particular literacy education.
As the successful applicant, you will also be expected to supervise research projects and theses at the postgraduate level in areas related to your expertise, contribute to School, College and University strategic plan targets in research and/or consultancy, and maintain and develop your professional standing within the profession or discipline.
You will also be expected to work collaboratively and collegially with fellow academics within the teaching team and undertake administrative tasks as appropriate.
To be successful in this position, you'll have: Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including online delivery, and the ability to produce high-quality curriculum or program materials.
Ability to undertake course coordination role.
Demonstrated capacity to work effectively with and negotiate sensitively with students, especially on issues related to effective learning.
Emerging track record and recognition for quality research outputs which will contribute to existing Discipline and School research areas, evidenced by publications, development of new research initiatives, competitive research funding, and industry links.
Demonstrated ability to supervise higher degree by research candidates.
Qualifications Mandatory: Ph D in a relevant discipline.
