About usThe Department of Government Services (DGS) was established on 1 January 2023 to improve everyone's experience of doing business and interacting with the Victorian government. We bring important day-to-day services together in one department to make things easy and seamless for Victorians and businesses. We are doing this by connecting and digitising our systems and platforms across state and local government as well as streamlining our corporate and procurement services.About the roleThe Platform Administrator will work with the Operations Lead and the CCP team to provide day-to-date operational administration of the technology platform and systems. This role will assist with managing the routine IT requests, system tickets, application support, and general IT support. Experience with SAP software and solutions is critical for this position.Key Accountabilities includeConfigure and maintain organisational IT systems to ensure that business goals and objectives are met.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to collate requirements and turn them into scalable and maintainable solutions.Conduct QA testing to mitigate bugs and defects.Ongoing developments of training of end users in how to use systems to meet best practice standards through all mediums.About youTo be considered for the role, you must be able to demonstrate:Management and organisational expertise in a diverse and dynamic environment and a passion for service excellence.Excellent knowledge and understanding of robust product management and delivery frameworks.Demonstrated capacity to manage and develop large multi-disciplinary teams to deliver a high-quality product to clients across business areas and deliver timely and high impact outcomes.Experience with formal project management.Proven high-level interpersonal, representational and communication skills, including the ability to influence and negotiate effectively at senior levels, and a proven capacity to develop effective relationships with a range of stakeholders.Demonstrated experience in conceptual analysis and strategic thinking, including the ability to synthesise themes from complex and diverse information sources and produce influential advice.Mandatory requirementsA relevant qualification would be an advantage.Experience with SAP software/platforms.This position is only open to applicants with relevant rights to work in Australia.How to applyApply before the advertised closing date 11:59pm on Wednesday, 11 December 2024.
