Job Description Our Pact Packaging division is pioneering a whole of product life cycle approach to sustainable packaging.
Partnering with global brands to local dairy producers, we integrate supply chain efficiencies and sustainable practices into everything we design and manufacture.
About this opportunity The role is about working with Shift Team leaders and the Production Manager to ensure the day-to-day running of the production department and continuity of day-to-day production requirements by completing die changes to schedule, setting up ancillary equipment, servicing equipment and tooling and operating machines when requested.
Your key responsibilities will be to: Setting, adjusting and maintaining Tools and Equipment to ensure continuity of the day-to-day operations and production requirements.
To ensure product quality levels meet customer requirements.
Where required, machine/make parts and tools.
To actively drive improvements in department productivity.
Ensure the maintenance of good housekeeping standards within the plant at all times.
Qualifications Your qualifications, skills and experience To be successful in this role, you'll have: Experience in the plastic manufacturing industry will be highly regarded.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Enjoy working in a team environment.
You must have the relevant work rights entitlements in Australia.
