The program supports Aboriginal children under statutory orders, providing care and protection in line with cultural practices. This is a unique opportunity to lead investigations, complete child wellbeing assessments, and make recommendations to promote safety and wellbeing. This is a locum role for 3-6 months with the potential to become permanent for the right person.Key duties:Lead investigations and conduct comprehensive child wellbeing assessmentsMake recommendations around the child's needs and safetySubmit court reports and provide ongoing case management for children under statutory ordersWork closely with the team to ensure culturally appropriate care is deliveredMaintain a focus on cultural safety for the children and families involvedWhat We're Looking For:A Bachelor's or Diploma qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Community Services, or a related field (minimum 2 years of experience if Diploma qualified)Direct child and family case management experienceCultural competency is required for those looking to transition to a permanent roleStrong understanding of the child protection system and ability to work with statutory clientsHow to apply:To apply, follow the link provided or apply on our website.
