The role: Due to our growth across the major transport space, in particular in delivering major road projects across Victoria, our Traffic Manager is seeking assistance.
We have a new opportunity for an established Site Engineer to jump on board and become a Traffic Engineer.
Reporting to our Traffic Manager, you will support them in the planning, implementation and maintenance of temporary traffic management across our major road projects.
Your impact: Your addition to the team will enable our traffic management to be optimal and efficient, minimising disruption to local communities surrounding our road projects.
Your every day: Forecasting and planning in conjunction with the delivery team regarding upcoming construction activities.
Utilising traffic engineering practices to enable the smooth creation and implementation of traffic management systems.
Preparing traffic management plans in conjunction with local road authorities.
Managing stakeholder relations whilst TMP's are being developed and implemented.
Providing cost summaries to the Traffic Manager for month-end reporting.
Who are you? Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
1-2 years experience as a Site Engineer within Victoria.
Analytical skills and logical problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills.
Drivers license and a vehicle to access sites around Melbourne.
