Training and Information Analyst Human Resource Consultant 2 | Training and Development Unit Full Time | Permanent Salary Range: $4,740 - $6,384 Monthly This is a telework/hybrid position.
The candidate of choice may work from anywhere within the State of Washington with a reliable internet connection.
Travel may be required.

TDU is searching for an analytical thinker to join their team as the Training and Information Analyst (Human Resource Consultant 2)! The goal of this position is to support the data and reporting functions of the Agency's Learning Management System, Learning Center.
The candidate of choice will facilitate training delivery, data integrity, and system administration in the state learning management system, the Learning Center.
You will assist in course configuration, assignment delivery, and compliance documentation for all online and instructor-led courses within the agency while monitoring agency-wide academies and job-specific trainings.
As the Training and Information Analyst, you will work closely with the Training and Information Supervisor to ensure user profiles contain accurate information to use as criteria to generate training assignments.
In addition to user profile management, the position will work closely with the Training and Information Manager to build, troubleshoot, and assign online and instructor-led training.
You will also be responsible for reviewing training plan assignments to meet the needs of DOC and Washington State regulations and policy.

As a Human Resource Consultant 2 , some of your duties will include: Division-Specific Training which could look like: Understanding and identifying the structure of trainings and classes in the academies to ensure accurate documentation.
Identifying activity settings, policy clarifications, reference materials, and procedures that could decrease a potential risk to the agency.
Providing support to the Training and Information Management Team (TIMT) as the subject matter expert in division-specific trainings.
Building and maintaining complex activities in the Learning Center (academies, curriculum, WA-State wrappers).
Reporting and Report Management including: Applying Microsoft tools (Power BI, Excel, Access) and internal software (HRMS, Active Directory, Easy Vista, Acadis) to prepare, troubleshoot, and process comprehensive reports.
Working in various areas of the Learning Center to create, maintain, and provide expert knowledge in stakeholder tools as they relate to reporting (Advanced Reporting, Manager Dashboard, Organizations, Audiences, Profiles).
User Movement Process Improvements and Customer Support Other duties as assigned What we need (required qualifications): High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
At least two years of working in an office environment.
Post-secondary education in an equivalent field can substitute year for year.
At least one year experience managing data in a learning management system or equivalent.
At least one year experience preparing and presenting data and training materials to internal and external partners and stakeholders.
Knowledge of: Principles and methods of automated data collection, record keeping, analysis, and evaluation Principles of individual and group behavior English grammar, punctuation, and vocabulary.
Ability to: Analyze and interpret complex data to organize and prepare detailed reports Communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively explaining technical data in a manner appropriate to the audience Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all staff Establish rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds Work with a high level of independence Function effectively in a stressful environment Manage workload in order to meet hard deadlines Identify, understand, and support the work of others on a team What will make your application stand out (preferred qualifications): A Bachelor's degree with a focus on business administration, human resources, or a related field from an accredited institution whose accreditation is recognized by the U.
S.
Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), or a foreign equivalent.
Proficiency in Microsoft Share Point Administration Three (3) years of experience in data analysis and visualization.
Three (3) years of experience in the administration of a relational database Three (3) years of experience using Microsoft Office software with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Power BI.

Telework Details This position may be allocated for telework.
Work may be performed from your home or another offsite location within the state of Washington using a reliable internet or cellular hotspot service at that time.
Employees are expected to perform assigned duties in a safe manner, to take proper care of all state-issued equipment, and maintain confidentiality of all information in possession while working offsite.
Employees will be required to commute to a Department of Corrections facility or field office as business requires, to potentially include components of the onboarding process.
Some offices will have a "drop in" area available, however, a dedicated workspace within a DOC facility will not be provided.
