YOUR ROLE Join CEVA Logistics as a Transport Compliance Coordinator, where you will play a crucial role in supporting our Transport Compliance Advisors to ensure all CEVA operations, sites, carriers, and transport contractors comply with transport legislation, HVNL, and regulatory obligations.
You will assist in the development and implementation of best practice standards, contribute to auditing and training across CEVA's Ground & Rail, Finished Vehicle Logistics, and Contract Logistics divisions, and provide detailed system reports that drive transport governance excellence.
This role involves collaboration with both internal teams and external partners to uphold CEVA's high standards.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? Specifically, you will: Understand and apply Chain of Responsibility (Co R) legislation relevant to CEVA's business activities, ensuring compliance across operations Stay informed of legislative changes and assess their potential impact on CEVA's systems and processes, advising on necessary adjustments Assist in identifying training needs, supporting the planning and delivery of compliance training, and highlighting areas for improvement Participate in coaching and training provided by Transport Compliance Advisors to deepen understanding of CEVA's systems, policies, and procedures Contribute to the development of CEVA documentation, ensuring compliance with load restraint, driver licensing, fatigue management, vehicle maintenance, and other regulatory requirements Assist in Myosh and ICAM investigations led by Transport Compliance or QHSE Advisors when required, contributing to safety improvements and corrective actions Deliver transport-related training, including CEVA-developed NHVAS packages, Learning Events, and Safety Guidance Notes, within your scope of expertise Conduct regular site visits focused on improving the safety of transport loading and unloading processes across CEVA sites Understand Accreditation Schemes and support the auditing regime, ensuring ongoing compliance with requirements Assist in evaluating, trialling, and implementing digital processes and platforms that integrate with CEVA's existing Integrated Safety Management Systems.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Our ideal candidate has experience in transport operations, together with: Experience participating in audits and delivering communications and toolbox talks Understanding of Co R, fatigue and mass management, load restraint or combination of these Proficient in MS Office, with excellent written and oral presentation skills Training and coaching abilities Valid driver licence and own vehicle (travel reimbursed per km) In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.
