About our Tunnelling Team Abergeldie is a leading tunnelling and shafts contractor with specialist experience in trenchless technology and world-leading blind boring capabilities with a fleet of Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs) that cater for any ground condition. We are currently delivering multiple shaft construction, small and medium diameter service tunnels, pedestrian tunnels and tunnel remediation projects across Australia and New Zealand. About the Role We are looking for an experienced Underground / Tunnelling Project Manager to join our team. This role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne, with travel to sites as required. You will work collaboratively with clients and project / joint venture teams across Abergeldie, supporting the delivery of various projects. You will provide your technical expertise and assist in managing project and team performance ensuring high-quality outcomes for our clients and ensuring all projects are delivered safely, on time and on budget. Working closely with our Senior Project Manager, you will be involved in both the pre-contracts, planning, and delivery phases. With a number of exciting projects on the horizon, you will support the tender processes, transitioning into project delivery once these are secured. What You'll Bring to the Team Experience in planning and overseeing various works including pipe jacked micro tunnelling, TBM's, shaft and deep excavation works. Experience working on pipe jack tunnelling projects with diameters ranging from 0.6m to 4m. Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or related field. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and mentor project teams. A comprehensive understanding of tunnelling safety standards and best practices. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
