Cornish College is seeking a dynamic, innovative, and committed teacher to join its VCE teaching team in 2025.
It is important that this teacher has experience teaching VCE English and/or History.
Qualifications and Experience Applicants should be trained secondary teachers with a Bachelor of Education or equivalent qualification.
All teachers at Cornish College must be registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching, which may include full registration, Permission to Teach, or Provisional Registration.

We are looking for applicants who meet the following criteria: An understanding of and experience in inquiry-based pedagogy Expertise and experience in English/English Language/History, including excellent subject knowledge A desire and proven ability to work in teams in and out of the classroom An outstanding record in building relationships with students, parents, and staff Other desirable experience and qualities include: A knowledge of the Understanding by Design process and concept-driven curriculum A passion for and broad understanding of sustainability Experience and belief in Restorative Practices A desire to Make a Difference in and beyond school The successful applicant will be required to produce original copies (from which a photocopy will be made) of VIT Registration, transcripts of academic and teaching qualifications claimed.
