Key Duties: Develop and implement a comprehensive VCE Maths curriculum aligned with the Victorian Curriculum guidelines, possibly covering subjects such as Mathematical Methods, Specialist Mathematics, and Further Mathematics. Create engaging and rigorous lesson plans that address the specific content and skills required for success in VCE Maths subjects. Prepare students for the VCE Maths examinations by teaching content, problem-solving strategies, and examination techniques. Administer practice exams and assessments to gauge students' readiness and identify areas for improvement. Utilize technology tools and resources effectively to enhance VCE Maths instruction, including graphing calculators, mathematical software, online resources, and digital learning platforms. Engage in continuous professional development activities to stay updated on best practices in VCE Maths education, teaching methodologies, curriculum developments, and assessment strategies. Skills & Experience: Must have unrestricted working rights in Australia. Hold a valid VIT registration. CECV Accreditation to teach in a Catholic School (or working towards) - school can support this. Experience in VCE Maths advantageous - graduates welcome to apply. Understanding of the Vic Curriculum - experience teaching in Vic/Australia. Minimum 4-year bachelor's degree containing a teaching qualification, with further study an advantage.
