We are in a period of exciting and significant investment in the Faculty of Medicine and Health and to deliver on the University's ambitious strategic plan, we are looking for a Verification Officer to perform general administrative support under general direction, including preparing documents, maintaining records, updating web materials, responding to queries, exploring matters, and sourcing solutions for the work area.
As the first point of contact for the office, this role requires strong administrative and organisational skills to coordinate and undertake a range of operational activities on an ongoing basis.
Your key responsibilities will be to: work with academic and professional staff to support almost 7000 students to help them meet the necessary compliance for placements provide administrative and operational support to the Student Placements team review processes relating to student verification and make suggestions for improvements maintain records and reports coordinate verification requirements for students across the Faculty of Medicine and Health.
About you has demonstrated project management skills, robust oral and written communication skills.
experience in working in a high-volume environment strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative as directed working knowledge of software programs such as Records Management, SONIA, Sydney Student, Clin Connect, Trim and Content Management Systems has excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
