Recruiting for 2025: The Vice Principal-Curriculum will be a member of the College Executive and Leadership Teams and will be responsible for the overall teaching and learning quality, innovation and support, with a focus on leading and managing a range of learning initiatives around pedagogy , student engagement , and innovation in design thinking pertaining to programs delivered across Years F-12.
This position includes a teaching load of up to 0.3 FTE in the successful applicant's subject area.
Hold relevant qualifications and certifications including a four-year tertiary qualification in education and a current VIT registration.
Be an experienced leader adept at leading, coaching and motivating a team to succeed.
Have experience in developing, delivering, monitoring and evaluating high quality teaching and learning curriculum programs with a continuous improvement mindset.
Have exceptional communication and relationship management skills that lead to strong, respectful and sustainable relationships being formed across all key stakeholders including young people and families from different economic, social and cultural backgrounds.

Duties include: Working with the Principal Team to ensure the smooth operation of day-to-day activities as well as the long-term planning of the College involving staff, parents/carers, students and others connected to the College community.
High level organisational skills to ensure the successful prioritisation and management of school duties including reporting, assessment and subject selections.
Supervising and coordinating the work of Heads of Sub-schools, Domain and Team Leaders, Heads of Learning Support, Support Staff and Teachers.
Monitoring and managing VCAA requirements for VCE students, ensuring compliance and effective communication with all stakeholders.
Building the capacity and managing the performance of individuals and teams.
Effectively planning and leading the professional growth of teachers.
Visiting classrooms to provide support for teachers and helping them improve teaching methods.
Outstanding interpersonal skills with a proven ability to foster collaborative, genuine relationships with students, staff, parents/carers, and the wider community in the pursuit of educational excellence and student wellbeing.
Working closely with other members of the College Executive and Leadership teams to ensure a collaborative and consistent team approach is maintained in the leadership.
Developing and maintaining a culture of high expectations for self and others.
Building a positive and collaborative learning culture within the school community.
Striving for continual improvement in all areas of responsibility within the role and support others in leading initiatives across the College.
Being an active and visible presence in the College community.
