Join our dynamic Warehouse and Distribution team as a Warehouse and Distribution Analyst.
As a pivotal member of our close-knit crew, you will be responsible for providing data, reports and analysis to the business including the management of freight profiles and warehouse costs.
You will develop analysis and reporting capabilities, monitor performance, and identify improvements in data analysis and reporting/presentations.
Based in Dandenong South, Victoria with Hybrid (work from home – 2 days per week) available.
The Impact You'll Make: Collecting, manipulating and analysing data.
Interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques in complex data sets and provide ongoing reports based on accurate and timely information to support the business for decision making; Identifies more effective ways of analysing data and improving methods of reporting.
Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality; Become the Power BI super user for the W&D function; Work with different business units to prioritize business and information needs; Locate and define new process improvement opportunities and business simplification; Responds to 80 stakeholder requests around data requests and information requirements; Perform any other duties as may be determined by the company management; Monthly report packs and presentations; Review and analyse freight rates; Identify trends and opportunities to improve the customer service offer and cost to serve; Project manage and implement agreed initiatives; Support key strategic business initiatives.
About you: Business degree or equivalent; 2 years experience in a similar role; Warehouse and transport industry experience preferred; Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy and report in an easy to use manner/platform; Excellent written and oral communication, as well as presentation skills; Advanced Excel and Power Point skills; ERP experience, Pronto would be considered advantageous; Strong time management skills; Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships; Project management and organisational capabilities; Ability to work independently and in a team; High level of problem-solving skills.
