Warehouse Assistant

Use your stores experience to assist with day-to-day warehousing tasks and operate cutting/press machinery at Altro, a leading manufacturer and supplier of premium flooring and wall cladding systems.
About the role: Full time permanent position $70-75 K + super Located in Dandenong South New and clean warehouse and annexed office Great team culture What you'll be doing: Carrying out all warehouse related tasks to ensure customer needs are met Completing weekly forklift checks Completing all dispatch paperwork including Dangerous Goods Notes Accurately picking and assembling orders with precision and care Check and label goods prior to put away Label orders correctly prior to dispatch, meeting hazardous goods legislation Contribute to the operation of the fixed plant machinery (cutting and press machines) What we are looking for: Reliable, loyal and flexible team member who can make a meaningful contribution to a small team Proven experience in a similar role Great attention to detail Valid forklift license Experience with JDE (WMS) would be ideal but can be taught Proven experience on a forklift (experience with articulated forklift is useful but not essential) Physically fit and able to do manual duties Permanent working rights in Australia (permanent residency or citizenship) Must have a valid driving license & reliable transport About the Company: Going strong since 1919, Altro is a leading manufacturer and supplier of premium flooring and wall cladding systems.
