We are seeking an experienced professional to provide effective and efficient administrative support to the Communications Centre Management team and other staff within the Communication Centre.
This is a permanent, full-time position.
While WFH/Hybrid options are available, it is essential that the successful applicant maintains a presence at our Burwood location in line with our hybrid working model.
About the role Reporting to the Communications Centre Manager, responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Provide office administration services to the Communication Centre management team in a timely and effective manner including: Act as the initial point of contact by screening calls, answering routine enquiries and processing messages for follow-up/action/referral Diary management and co-ordination of meetings Preparation of draft correspondence Co-ordinate stationary and uniform orders including control of stock, ordering, and purchasing of supplies Contribute to continuous improvement of business processes and systems and foster constructive and effective working relationships within the Communications Centre & AV About you To be considered for this position you will possess: Demonstrated experience and expertise in providing secretarial and administrative support within a large organisation or department Effective verbal and written communication skills to enable effective interaction with staff and stakeholders, ensuring information is clearly articulated, and to enable the preparation of accurate and concise documents Proficiency of Microsoft Office suite applications including Outlook, Power Point, Word, Excel (for Excel intermediate skills as a minimum) and familiarity with Internet applications Planning and organising skills to prioritise tasks to achieve outcomes within required timeframes, and flexibility to manage changing and conflicting priorities to meet departmental needs Working at Ambulance Victoria As a valued member of AV, you will enjoy a professional working environment that recognises the importance of work/life balance.
