About the role As an Allied Health Assistant (AHA) you will work within the Physiotherapy and broader inter-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality evidence-based therapy to patients in our acute hospital wards, our Rehabilitation or community sites. Under the supervision of a treating Physiotherapist, you will provide individually tailored exercise programs, facilitate mobility to minimise functional decline, and provide early rehabilitation to progress the patient to an optimal discharge destination. You will assist to improve the wellbeing and experience of patients in each setting. You will also undertake a range of non-clinical duties to support the provision of Physiotherapy services (e.g., administration, gait-aid and equipment collection and cleaning). The successful applicant will have suitable qualifications that meet the selection criteria, as well as experience working in a healthcare setting with patients around exercise.
