The Role: Join our dynamic Community Engagement team as the Alumni and Advancement Coordinator ! In this pivotal role, you'll provide expert administrative and project support to the Alumni and Advancement teams, playing a key part in fostering strong relationships within our community.
As the go-to person for managing Carey's database and future CRM systems, you'll ensure smooth and efficient operations across departments.
Reporting to the Alumni and Community Manager, you'll work closely with a passionate and collaborative team while engaging with the wider School community.

Position Details: 0.8 FTE Permanent, Part Time If you're ready to bring your skills to a rewarding role and contribute to an inspiring community, we'd love to hear from you! The Average Day: Database Management Serve as the department owner of the School's database including independent gift entry, receipting, reporting and updating of constituent records.
In collaboration with the Alumni and Advancement Specialist, collate data for regular reports to the Board and Senior Leadership on all Community Engagement functions, with a particular focus on Alumni and Advancement performance.
Administrative and Project Coordination Provide administrative and project-based support for the Alumni and Advancement functions, including management of multiple community inboxes, phone queries, mail, stakeholder meetings, procedure documents and digital platform updates including Active Campaign, Potentiality and social media.
Under the guidance of the Alumni and Community Manager and Head of Advancement, undertake stakeholder stewardship phone calls including to donors, alumni, event attendees and families.
The Person: To be successful in this position, you will have: Philanthropic and CRM Experience : Proven experience managing donations, updating records, and running reports in a for-purpose setting.
Strong Communication Skills : Exceptional written and verbal communication, including preparing and distributing digital newsletters, EDMs, and printed mail.
Technical Proficiency : Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point), with a keen eye for detail in data entry and reconciliation across systems.
Organisational Skills : Strong project management, time management, and problem-solving abilities, with flexibility to prioritize multiple tasks.
Relationship Building : A people person who excels at developing relationships with stakeholders while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
A valid Employee Working with Children Check is a requirement of employment for this position.
