The Department The Apheresis service provides comprehensive apheresis care for therapeutic and donor indications in the inpatient and outpatient setting. Procedures performed include therapeutic plasma exchange, platelet depletion, leukapheresis, peripheral blood stem cell collection, and lymphocyte collections. Apheresis nurses work under the direction of a consultant haematologist and are supported by the Cellular Therapies Associate Nursing Unit Manager (ANUM) and HOC Nursing Services Manager. Outside of business hours, an apheresis on-call service is in place for emergency procedures. The Role An exciting opportunity exists for registered nurses with apheresis experience to work in the Apheresis unit within the Haematology Oncology Centre. If you have excellent communication skills, work well in a dynamic team, and have cannulation and CVAD management skills, this is the job for you! Qualifications and Experience Required We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic, patient-centred nurses with chemotherapy skills to join our hardworking team.
