The Armoury Team Leader - Asset Management is responsible for providing logistical support associated with the maintenance scheduling of Victoria Police's accountable equipment.
This includes the accurate recording of all equipment movement performed in accordance with legislation, policy and local operating procedure using the Victoria Police logistic management database and other management programs.
The Armoury Team Leader manages a small team of Armoury Asset Support Officers.
The role also requires a customer centric, collaborative, and innovative approach to working with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.

Your duties will include: Ensuring compliance with Legislation and other workplace safety policies applicable to the Armoury.
Assist with OH&S auditing, reporting and awareness strategies for the Armoury.
Tracking and recording of accountable equipment.
Analysing and developing enhancements of existing data management systems/software and policy.
Main point of contact for complex customer queries relating to tracking and auditing of fleet maintenance program.
Reporting and advising Senior Management regarding operational and deliverable issues including identifying and assisting to mitigate risk.
Liaise with Technical/Maintenance Unit.
As the successful applicant, you will have: High-level attention to detail and an ability to interpret and apply legislation and compliance policy in a regulatory environment.
Ability to conduct research, undertake audit and prepare reports including making recommendations regarding risk and compliance.
Experience in the management of a logistics team with diverse skills and expertise.
Experience in logistics management of specialised equipment or equivalent.
Experience in the effective maintenance of a logistics management database.
Proficient in PC applications including a strong skill level in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Experience in creating and preparing complex reports utilising logistic and audit data.
Effective problem-solving skills.
Strong Communication skills (both written and oral).
