Lead the change, from the frontline Shell Energy's Energy Solutions teams provide behind the meter products and services to large energy consuming customers to lower energy costs, improve energy productivity and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Based in Melbourne , Sydney or Brisbane , the primary objective of the Asset Manager is to define, build and implement a robust asset management solution for both Shell Energy and customer owned flexible distributed energy resources.
This role works closely with key internal and external stakeholders to deliver clear reporting and performance metrics, plant availability and case management whilst maximising commercial and continuous improvement outcomes.
With honesty, integrity and respect, you will: Monitor, analyse and perform reporting for each operating asset, including operational performance, financial results, and HSSE requirements; Assess asset portfolio financial performance relative to budgets and forecasts; Assess operational improvements and risks; Develop and manage risk/asset management plans for assets; Work with EPC contractors to ensure defects are properly recorded and rectified prior to Final Completion; Implement proactive and reactive maintenance regime across assets; Manage O&M contractors and suppliers, including onboarding, contract administration, quarterly reviews, quality and technical compliance of works performed; Root cause analysis including end-to-end ownership of resolution; Coordinate site related activities to rectify any defects; Manage compliance of network and electrical systems designs, construction, and operational activities in accordance with legislation, codes of practice and accredited standards; Assist in the review, update, and creation of SE technical standards, procedures and operating guidelines for operational assets.
What you'll bring Here's what you'll need to thrive in this role: Advanced project management skills; Experience with asset management related tools; Experience with HSSE, risk management and contact management; Demonstrated success in Stakeholder Management across a large organisation; An existing network of relationships with subcontractors, key technology partners and OEMs; Experience with distributed energy resources and demand response; An understanding of energy use and energy markets in Australia; Excellent time management and organisation skills; Clear, professional and articulate communication; Good problem-solving skills; High levels of initiative; Effective team player; and Willingness to travel.
