Assistant Accountant

Our client is a well-established large company in the service industry.
As the Assistant Accountant , you are responsible for assisting the management in making informed decisions through preparation and analysis of monthly financial results, reconciliation of general ledger accounts, weekly journals, providing assistance with the preparation of annual budgets, and other duties as required.
You will be working closely with the Accounting and finance team in this role, reporting to the Head of the Finance division.
This is a part-time permanent role with 7-8 days a fortnight work.

Ensure Fixed Asset System is maintained accurately.
Assistance with regular monthly general journals including payroll related journals, bank reconciliation entries, and intercompany entries.
Coordination with monthly reconciliation files and review.
Assistance in preparation of information for quarterly and yearly audit requirements.
Assistance with ad-hoc reporting.
