A great opportunity for an experienced M&A/Corporate Advisor to join an active platform with a generalist sector focus.
About Our client is a boutique corporate advisory firm specialising in mid-market M&A and strategic advisory services.
Located in Melbourne, the firm is known for its client-centric approach, team-oriented culture, and balanced work hours, akin to those found in a corporate finance team within a Big 4 firm.
As the business grows and expands, they seek to appoint an Associate Director to join their leadership team, reporting directly to experienced, talented and likeable Managing Directors.
Overview The Associate Director will be key in driving the firm's growth and development.
This position is ideal for a professional looking to transition from a pure execution role into a business development position, with responsibilities spanning transaction management, team leadership, and client engagement.
While the role involves business development, no set revenue targets allow you to focus on building and nurturing strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities Lead and manage transactions from inception to completion, ensuring successful outcomes.
Develop and maintain client relationships, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Contribute to the strategic direction and growth of the firm.
Leverage existing networks in Melbourne and across Australia to enhance the firm's market presence.
Ideal Candidate: 6-10 years of proven experience in mid-market M&A or corporate advisory.
Strong M&A and/or Capital Advisory transaction management capabilities with the ability to lead and develop a team.
Established networks in Melbourne or broader Australian markets.
Client-focused, team-oriented, and seeking a balanced work-life dynamic.
Looking to transition into a business development role with the opportunity to influence the firm's growth.
