About the role At Sportsbet, the Quality Assurance team delivers comprehensive testing services to the business including but not limited to raising the "culture of quality" across the company.
We take pride in the fact that the products we deliver to our customers (both internal and external) are of the highest standard.
Automation Engineers are embedded into our Delivery Teams, working closely with the developers, BAs and other stakeholders to achieve the highest quality results.

This involves not only automation, but dealing with CI/CD jobs, stabilizing test environments, and release testing.

During your daily routine, you will: Make sure our products behave as expected Work towards uplifting the automation framework and maintaining it Break things and put them together Give constructive feedback to business and other stakeholders about areas to improve on Left Shift Testing mindset with Automation first focus.
Be a Coach in providing support on test automation frameworks and best practices About You Key experiences required: Experience with building test automation frameworks from scratch Strong experience in developing and deploying API test automation suites Super Test, Jest, Mocha, Chai, Cucumber and/or other API test automation frameworks Strong experience in developing frontend automation test suites using Playwright, Appium / Detox, Cypress, Selenium, Web Driver Working experience in modern framework like Playwright /Cypress using Typescript is a must.
Experience working with Node design patterns and multiple Node libraries Experience with setting up and working with CI/CD tools like Git Hub action (preferable), Jenkins, Codemagic.
Knowledge working with Stash, Bitbucket, Git Hub (preferred).
Strong understanding of coding best practices Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems from a technical point of view Docker, Puppet or other application configuration and distribution platform knowledge is a plus and understanding of AWS concepts.
