Electrical/Electronic Engineering (Engineering) GPS Electrical Services is an Industrial Electrical Engineering & Contracting Company based in Fairfield.

This key national role will report to the Engineering Manager and work closely with the Director group to drive excellence in the automation space.
The position is a hands-on role responsible for leading the integration of control systems over a variety of platforms in multiple industries from development to commissioning and closeout.
Key Role Responsibilities Drive operational excellence for the software and automation side of GPS Electrical Services and its associated partners.
Research and drive relevant new technologies.
Act as the escalation point for technical issues and design queries.
Assist with high-level concept designs and proof of concept to support sales and solutions.
Work with the engineering manager to maintain proper processes, documentation, and project closeout.
The ideal candidate will have experience with the following: Ignition SCADA will be highly regarded (Perspective) Allen Bradley Suite of PLC and SCADA Systems Siemens TIA (S7) and Win CC Understanding of managed networks, VLANS, routing IDMZ, Firewalls High Level Languages - C, C++, Python, JAVA, and SQL An understanding of IIOT protocols and concepts (MQTT, Cloud) Process control including the set up of VSD's, Servo's, Networks, and Proprietary Controllers The below experience would be advantageous but not essential to the role: Cyber security Experience in Refrigeration, Process Control, Conveying Systems & FMCG will be highly regarded.
