About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 09 The Team: We are a relatively small, multi-disciplined and market focused team, building the majority of our offerings in Melbourne for consumption through automotive, finance, government and data aggregation industries.
We hold a prestigious position in the automotive industry managing the sales data utilized by the majority of the industry, which enables us to create highly attractive, market focused solutions for a receptive and rewarding customer base.

Responsibilities and Impact: Enable the expansion of our reach into specified industry sectors through account growth and/or new logo acquisition.
Identify gaps in the market through a deep understanding of the customers needs, and work with our product management and delivery teams to address those gaps.
Leverage collaborative and consultative sales practices to establish strong relationships with industry associations, channel partners and data consumers.
Actively contribute to the success of the Australian Global Mobility team through the capture and sharing of customer insights, competitor intelligence and acting as the voice of the customer throughout the sales lifecycle.
Progress live near-term opportunities whilst building a robust and meaningful medium to longer term pipeline of future opportunities.
Provide accurate, reliable, and timely forecasting, and reporting of all opportunities.
What We're Looking For: Basic Required Qualifications: 3 to 5 years of experience working in B2 B sales, preferably with Automotive, Insurance, Financial and Energy clients.
Experience in both acquiring new clients and managing existing portfolios as well.
The sales-person will engage multiple levels in the customers organization and must be adaptable, flexible, and capable of communicating and negotiating successfully with technical, procurement and commercial buyers.
Due to the nature of this growth focused role, experience with both new business development and account development is essential.
The role will cover the main automotive, finance, Insurance and Energy markets in Australia so proximity to the Eastern states and fluent written and spoken English language ability is required, together with strong knowledge of the target industries.
Strong commercial awareness and experience, ideally with higher education or university degree in a business-related discipline.
This role involves 50% travel, majority of it being local.
Additional Preferred Qualifications: Previous training in or independent study of a range of sales methodologies or recognized sales discipline would be highly regarded.
Appreciation for data commercialization or experience in an industry where data and insights have been leveraged to make commercial decisions would be advantageous.
