This is a pivotal role for a sales hunter with a deep understanding of the IT services landscape, particularly in emerging technology areas.
You will be responsible for identifying, nurturing, and converting new business opportunities into long-term clients across sectors such as Retail, CPG, Energy Utilities, and Manufacturing.
Ideal Candidate Profile: Sales Hunter Profile: A proven track record of success in generating new business and acquiring new customer logos.
Experience: 10+ years of sales experience in IT services within a global delivery model.
Industry Expertise: Experience in selling technology solutions and services, particularly in areas like Business Intelligence & Analytics, Cloud, Web Applications, Mobility, AMS, Io T, AI, Automation, and R&D.
Digital & Emerging Technologies: Strong understanding of the digital space and the ability to articulate and position the value proposition of solutions and services.
Executive Interaction: Comfortable engaging with C-level executives (CIOs, IT Directors) and articulating strategies, solutions, and services.
Consultative Approach: Ability to understand customer needs and propose consultative solutions, business models, and execution strategies.
Analytical & Negotiation Skills: Strong skills in synthesising complex technical, business, and legal issues to solve problems and execute action plans.
IT Sales Cycle Expertise: Well-versed in the sales cycle, from lead generation to proposal, rate/price negotiations, and contract closures.
Attributes: Energetic, enthusiastic, resilient, with a positive, can-do attitude.
Community Involvement: A desire to contribute time (not just money) to the community and uphold values.
Key Responsibilities: New Business Development Plan Execution: Create and deliver on a new business development (NBD) plan for Digital Business Services within the ANZ regionn.
Opportunity Identification: Identify and nurture new business opportunities within targeted segments and accounts, with the potential to scale.
Collaboration: Work closely with competency and presales teams to develop and execute comprehensive "win-plans." Revenue Targets: Achieve revenue and gross margin targets aligned with company growth objectives, ensuring timely collections.
Stakeholder Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within alliance partners, executing go-to-market plans.
Industry Awareness: Stay informed of industry trends and new service offerings through regular participation in enablement sessions.
Sales Process Adherence: Follow the defined sales process, including CRM usage, pricing policies, and participation in sales reviews and reporting.
Lead Generation: Develop a comprehensive channel strategy and leverage networks and alliances to uncover additional sales opportunities.
Account Mining & Growth Account Planning: Develop and execute account plans to grow relationships with newly acquired customers.
Stakeholder Mapping: Maintain and grow relationships with key stakeholders within accounts.
Collaboration for Success: Work closely with delivery and competency teams to successfully deliver on account growth plans.
