Kirkby High School Knowsley Salary: Grade J, SCP 26-28 - £34,834 – £36,648 pro rata per annum (actual salary: £30,815 – 32,419 per annum) Job type: Full Time, Fixed Term Apply by: 20 September 2024 Job overview Two year fixed term contract (subject to funding) commencing as soon as possible Kirkby High School is looking to appoint a motivated Careers Advisor to provide a professional, comprehensive Careers Information Advice & Guidance Service to the school.
The successful candidate will already be level 6 qualified or willing to work towards the qualification whilst in post (with the cost being met by the school).
The postholder will liaise closely with the CIAEG coordinator and SLT link for CIAEG to further raise the aspiration of all students and impact Kirkby High School's career provision.
You will work with students identified at risk of NEET and support these students after they leave high school.
Previous experience of offering IAG in a school setting is desirable.
