Casual Veterinary Nurse

The Corio Veterinary Clinic is seeking a passionate, enthusiastic, and motivated casual veterinary nurse with the ability to work varied shifts and availability to be flexible to cover holiday leave.

Are you: Cert IV qualified and confident in all aspects of nursing, from reception to surgical nursing, with at least two years' experience? Looking for a clinic which will let you show off your amazing skills at blood collection, catheter placement, radiology, dental scaling and polishing, dental radiography, and loads more? Itching to develop and extend on your skills in a supportive, friendly team environment? A great worker who likes a fast-paced clinic where we work hard but enjoy a laugh together too? Familiar with Rx Works – experience would be great, if not we can easily train you! We want to hear from you! What we can offer you: A supportive team around you, with 5 fellow nurses and 2 vets.

All the toys to play with, including Idexx lab equipment, Surgivet with capnography, digital X-ray and dental X-ray, i M3 dental machine, Bair Huggers, fluid warmers, and much more! A location that can't be beaten - only 45 mins to Melbourne CBD, and 35 mins to the Surf Coast! The hours: Your hours will usually be between the varied shifts of 7:30am-6:30pm and includes the possibility of working Saturday mornings.
Clinic hours are 8-6pm weekdays and Saturdays 8:30-1:00pm.
We are closed on Sundays and public holidays and do not work overnight or on call.
