Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial strategy and operations of this established group.
The CFO will report to the Directors of the business and oversee all financial activities, ensuring the financial health and sustainability.
This role is pivotal to driving financial performance, managing capital needs, and aligning financial strategies with the company's growth objectives.
The role is supported by a Finance Manager and a wider property accounts team of six full time employees, ensuring accurate commercial accounts.

About you and your experience: To be considered for this role it is essential that you have held prior roles within the property and/or development industry in Australia; we are unable to consider those requiring sponsorship or without local expertise.
You will ideally have a chartered background and have worked for private owners, or privately run groups.
This role commands a great deal of regular financial reporting across multiple cost centres, so your ability to have an eye for detail and leaving no stone unturned is essential.
You will have a strong persona, be able to manage both up and down with conviction and credibility.
This is a high performing business, commanding a suitable salary; however, it will be a very busy and demanding role, suiting those who have the tenacity and drive to succeed.
The "hands-on" role is based in the office full time; no WFH is available, this is a critical requirement for the business due to the nature of the role and the requirement to work closely with the leadership team.
Prior experience with Yardi or systems implementation would be beneficial as Yardi is being used by the group.
