Overview of role:
The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is pivotal in shaping and implementing the technological direction of Coliban Water. This role is responsible for developing and driving our digital strategy, ensuring that our security, technology infrastructure, information and data, services, and capabilities align with and support our strategic objectives. As the CIO, you will collaborate closely with management, system owners, subject matter experts and users across the organization to create a technology vision that fosters growth, integration and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development, implementation, execution and maintenance of Coliban Water's digital and technology strategy.
Work with system owners and technology stakeholders to establish a cohesive and forward-thinking technology vision.
Share and promote technological visions, opportunities, and risks across the organization including the Executive and Board.
Support exceptional employee and customer experiences through the delivery of best-in-class digital platforms.
Ensure robust cyber security protocols are in place to protect the organization.
About You:
You are a strategic thinker with a passion for technology and a proven track record in leadership. Your leadership will guide Coliban Water into the future, ensuring our technology, security and information solutions are innovative, secure and aligned with our strategic goals.
Qualifications & Experience:
Expert working knowledge and experience in Information and systems and security.
Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Science, or a related discipline.
Proven leadership experience in technology strategy and digital transformation.
Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technological concepts to diverse stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Salary:
The salary and conditions for this position will be as per the Coliban Water Enterprise Agreement 2021 Band 7, $163,687 - $185,425 plus superannuation salary range will be offered to the successful candidate commensurate with their skills and experience.
