Multinational Claims Specialist | Multiple locations
Allianz Commercial's Specialty & Major Accounts division is looking for a multinational specialist to join our claims team in Australia. Reporting to the National Manager – Claims, Specialty & Major Accounts, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving the delivery of multinational claims services by owning local processes, coordinating with other regions and supporting business development initiatives. They will also manage an appropriately sized portfolio of short tail (property, energy, engineering and/or entertainment) claims across Australia and New Zealand.

You'll be responsible for
Owning regional multinational claims delivery, translating growth ambitions into actions, driving implementation, supporting innovation, and supervising regional KPIs.
Enhancing data quality by coordinating reporting across businesses, improving timeliness, and ensuring data accuracy.
Overseeing multinational claims administrative processes, including payments coordination, GPS maintenance, and communication with brokers and clients.
Managing end-to-end claims process for single and multi-party claims within delegated authority levels and engaging with global 'large loss' claim referral teams.
Maximizing recoverable income through efficient administration, early reinsurer engagement, and managing external service providers to meet service standards.
About You
Demonstrated experience in handling claims within the Specialty & Major Accounts market and working in a global matrix environment.
Strong analytical, strategic, problem-solving skills, and the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage competing resources and demands.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to influence and drive outcomes, along with proficiency in systems, software, databases, reporting, and communication tools.
Technical knowledge of relevant lines of business, current insurance guidelines, legislation, and regulations, with strong negotiation and investigation skills.
High attention to detail, commitment to high standards of file maintenance, ability to address conflicts, a growth mindset, and impeccable ethics and professionalism.
