We are looking for an experienced commercial lawyer (litigation experience preferred) with 2 years PAE to join my clients expanding team within their office in Melbourne CBD.
Duties & Responsbilities: Commercial Structuring and restructuring.
Mergers and acquisitions (including business sales and purchases).
Leasing. Shareholder and partnership agreements.
Business succession agreements.
Blockchain & cryptocurrency compliance and structuring.
Banking & finance (including property and development lending); and Corporate governance, compliance & regulation.
Litigation Complex general commercial litigation and property related disputes.
Partnership disputes / shareholder disputes & oppression actions.
Corporate and personal insolvency.
Building and construction disputes.
Proceeds of crime law and confiscation law under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 (Cth) and the Confiscation Act 1997 (Vic).
Directors' duties and governance/compliance issues.
Requirements: Minimum of 2 years PQE within Commercial Law Litigation experience preferred Current practicing certificate Motivated to take ownership of your own work.
