THE ROLE Act as a primary point of contact for business-to-business (B2 B) sales, representing the company's commercial products and services.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to identify, target, and acquire new commercial clients within a designated territory or market segment.
Focus on advising and marketing to architectural and specification contacts with product knowledge / marketing activities / specification support tools.
Seek out sales leads, nurture prospects, and successfully close deals.
Identify new opportunities through expanded product range and existing client base.
Generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, referrals, and online research, and follow up on inquiries promptly.
Excel in both team environments and working independently.
Consistently maintaining the CRM is kept up to date.
Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify unique selling points and differentiate the company's offerings.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED Strong understanding of the B2 B sales process, including lead generation, prospecting, qualifying, presenting, negotiating, and closing.
Commercial Furniture experience is preferred, however not crucial.
Ability to network and build relationships with Architects, Interior Designers, Education, Aged-Care and Hospitality Sector.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with clients.
Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals consistently.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Must be enthusiastic and autonomous.
Proven experience of meeting and/or exceeding sales targets.
Current Australian Drivers licence.
