About the Role CFA is pleased to present a great opportunity for a Communications Support Officer in our Communications and Stakeholder Relations Department.
This position is ideal for those starting their career and is vital for developing and delivering effective communications across the organisation.
Reporting to the Media Director, you will assist in various activities, including managing and updating CFA's audio-visual library and distributing communications to diverse audiences.

Key responsibilities of the role will include the following: Organise and update photos and videos on the Communications archiving platform, following consistent metadata guidelines as directed by the Media Director.
Assist with communication delivery to stakeholders via CRM/Campaign and monitor databases for campaign support.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, communicating professionally and diplomatically.
Manage project administration, including document preparation, updating project plans and reports and conducting research.
Track project deliverables and compile statistics on effectiveness and reach.
Address general inquiries about campaigns and fire safety messaging, providing materials as needed.
About You Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Demonstrated experience in providing administrative support services within a large and/or complex organisation.
Degree in Public Relations, Media, Marketing or equivalent is highly regarded.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong and cooperative relationships with internal and external project stakeholders.
Strong computer literacy skills, particularly in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Share Point).
Experience in the use of a CRM or similar customer service platform will be highly regarded.
Well-developed organisational and time management skills and demonstrated ability to set priorities and meet tight work demands, with an ability to manage and coordinate a range of office functions and projects.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
