Job Description As our Construction Safety Advisor you'll be responsible for maintaining and improving the safety management system for construction projects. In this role you'll also be responsible for undertaking desktop and on-site safety audits and driving safe work practices within our construction projects. Develop and maintain construction safety management system procedures and guidance material Review and critique external partner project-specific safety management plans and client requirements Participate in High Risk workshops with the project management team Undertake routine onsite construction inspections to ensure safety issues are appropriately identified, assessed and risks are mitigated Complete site inspection reports, including findings and following up on the implementation of corrective actions Manage reporting processes for customer projects as well as internal reporting Qualifications A passion for the construction industry and creating safe workplaces 10+ years construction site-based experience and 5+ years in a safety focused role Diploma or Cert IV in Occupational Health and Safety Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels Strong interpersonal skills including consultation, facilitation and negotiation skills Well-developed time management and organisational skills Sound knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation Additional Information Seize this exciting opportunity to join one of Australia's fastest growing companies and play a key contributing role in the future of AI and the digital economy Join an inclusive, diverse and values-driven working culture Enjoy awesome employee benefits (gifted share options, NEXTDC days, volunteer days, professional development, holistic wellbeing and mental health programs and more) Great opportunities to progress within our company (grow as we grow) Our mission is to continue building a diverse and inclusive workforce which represents the communities in which we operate. #J-18808-Ljbffr
