About the role This is a senior position within the Growth & Development Unit where you will manage and coordinate the development of strategic land use planning projects, develop policies and plans to enable the implementation of successful planning outcomes for Moorabool Shire, and provide rigorous and timely strategic planning advice to internal and external stakeholders.
You will also be responsible for project management (including budget management) and the coordination and development of Council's projects dealing with growth area planning.

You will also have extensive experience and knowledge of growth area planning, preferably in a municipal or similar environment together with demonstrated ability in project managing growth area planning as well as a sound understanding of the Victorian Planning System, relevant legislation and regulations and planning scheme amendment processes.
