Credit Officer - Banking & Allocations

One of Australia's leading manufacturers in the building and infrastructure industry is currently seeking a reliable and passionate Credit Officer to focus predominantly on the banking, allocations and reconciliations.
This is a temporary opportunity, based in Braeside to commence immediately, and it will see you through until the end of the year, with a potential for extension into the new year!Responsibilities Include: Allocate daily cash receipts from customers to invoices in the ERP system.
Allocate daily credit card transactions from customers to invoices in the ERP system.
Ensure all unallocated cash receipts are actioned in a timely manner.
Reconcile customer statements.
Assist with accounts receivable enquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
Support customer service with accounts receivable enquiries.
Reconcile supplier statements.
Your Skills: Experience in a similar role with a strong focus on banking and allocation.
Capable of working autonomously and ability to meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail in processing data.
Good communication skills - written and verbal.
Demonstrated Excel skill set.
Self-starter with a strong team focus.
