Our client, a Federal Government Department, is looking for a Technology Delivery Manager for a contract role with an initial 12-month engagement and with multiple extensions.
The right candidate could be located in SA or VIC with the ability to work full-time from the client's office in the respective state, for a minimum of 3 days per week.
Please note to apply, applicants must have the following: All candidates must be an Australian Citizen based in either SA or VIC.
All candidates must have Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) Security Clearance.
At least 5+ years' relevant local working experience in the field.
Please note that offshore or any other visa category candidates will not be shortlisted.
The Technology Delivery Managers will work in product-focused teams to deliver end-to-end services and to support them in production.
As a Technical Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of technical projects and services including overseeing the technical execution, managing technical teams and ensuring the timely delivery of the project in alignment with business objectives.
Mandatory experience to be successful in securing the role: Minimum 3+ years experience in the following areas: Experience and knowledge in delivering Cyber Security and assurance projects, including managing project scope, schedule, budget constraints and providing support to clear issues blocking delivery.
Significant knowledge and experience implementing the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) Essential Eight and the applicable Information Security Manual controls to achieve Maturity Level One in a complex ICT Environment.
And/or significant knowledge and experience implementing the Microsoft 365 product suite or similar digital transformation projects in a complex ICT Environment.
Other skills to be able to perform the role: Experience working with and influencing internal and external stakeholders and partners to minimise the organisation change impact in order to successfully implement Cyber Security mitigations.
Proven track record in leading technical teams and managing cross-disciplinary technical programs, from project definition to product delivery/demonstration.
Experience in the management of Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server Operating Systems environments.
