Western Health has an excellent opportunity for a Deputy Director of Pharmacy - Clinical.
This position is temporary (12 months), full-time (80 hours per fortnight) from December 2024.
We are seeking a passionate, highly motivated and experienced hospital pharmacist with extensive clinical experience to provide leadership within our large health service.
You will work collaboratively with the pharmacy team and a broad range of stakeholders to co-ordinate the clinical pharmacy service for Western Health as well as to develop the skills of other staff members.
To be successful in this role, you: Have extensive hospital pharmacy experience in a senior position, with an excellent understanding of clinical pharmacy practice and health care administration.
Demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Have highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrate an ability to determine workload priorities to complete tasks by the agreed timeline.
Have a proven ability to implement change and conduct quality/research activities within a complex environment.
