Due to the ongoing success of this organisation, we are seeking a mobile Desktop Support Analyst to start ASAP and provide frontline IT support.
Role Overview:
As a Desktop Support Analyst, you will be the first point of contact for IT support within the company, ensuring that their ever-growing team can operate smoothly and efficiently. You'll provide critical support to their staff, resolving technical issues, maintaining hardware and software, and contributing to various IT projects.
Please note this is a mobile position, and requires the successful candidate to travel between sites to provide IT Support so you must have an Australian Driving License.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-level support for desktop/laptop, mobile devices, and peripherals.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and application software.
Assist with user account setup, password resets, and system access issues.
Support and troubleshoot network connectivity problems.
Maintain inventory of all IT equipment, software, and licenses.
Document issues and resolutions in our ticketing system.
Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
Participate in IT projects and initiatives as required.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience as a Desktop Support Analyst or similar role, ideally up to 2 years.
Strong knowledge of Windows and Microsoft operating systems.
Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Customer-focused with a positive, can-do attitude.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
