In this position, you'll be based in Port, Melbourne office for a minimum of three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for some of your working week.

As a member of a cross-functional team focused on shared success, you will develop solutions for Computershare Communication Services and deliver solutions with first-time quality and adherence to ISO9001 procedures.
Some of your key responsibilities will include: Write high quality code, developing unit, functional and performance testing and manage promotion to production environments.
Complete development work within the estimated time frame and budget Provide insights and direction to teams to enhance the efficiency of technology solutions delivery to customers.
Act as a point of escalation for technical issues, including direct customer engagement, when necessary, to ensure rapid resolution of queries and issues.
Participate in peer code reviews against requirements and standards.
Participate in quality issue investigations as required.
Demonstrable ability to suggest and implement improvements to existing processes and tools What will you bring to the role? You will have the ability to work in a collaborative, dynamic team environment and build effective working relationships with people from both a technical and non-technical background.
You have a passion for software development and a desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience: University Degree from accredited institution in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science and/or related discipline.
Programming Experience – minimum 3 years** experience developing software in a commercial environment.
Experience in Windows and/or Unix, Perl (or other high-level language), databases and data structures Possess and display a positive, flexible, enthusiastic attitude & strong work ethic, be self-motivated, proactive and a capable of working in a team or independently.
