About the Role CFA is inviting applications for the role of Digital Content Advisor within our Communications & Stakeholder Relations team.
This position plays a vital role in enhancing our web-based services for both members and the broader community.
The Digital Content Advisor will focus on improving the functionality and performance of CFA's Elastic Search across platforms, including Members Online (our intranet), the CFA website, and the Pocketbook App.
Your work will directly contribute to refining and enhancing the user experience on these digital platforms, ultimately keeping Victorians informed.
Key Responsibilities: Optimise digital copy and landing pages for SEO, ensuring relevant metadata aligns with content.
Conduct and assess ongoing keyword research and opportunities for expansion.
Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders and support content owners to enhance SEO in content creation.
Work with Communications, Stakeholder Relations, and ICT teams to identify and solve issues.
Provide advice on platform upgrades, operability and user interface improvements.
Strategically monitor and manage search indexing across CFA platforms.
Analyse data to offer evidence-based recommendations for digital platform improvements.
Develop and utilise Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for actionable insights.
Stay informed on market trends to drive search program growth and enhance platform performance.
Support and contribute to strategic digital initiatives, including SEO content manipulation and editing to improve search ranking.
About You: Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms.
Experience with Google Analytics.
Proven experience and skill in developing content for relevant intranet pages.
Capability to implement strategic objectives within the duties of the role.
Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
Problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
Good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop effective relationships.
Understanding of CFA or another similar volunteer-based organisation is desirable.
