The Role
We are seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team and use their expertise to enhance our website's user experience and drive conversions. You will play a key role in improving and managing our SEO and SEM efforts to boost brand visibility and contribute to our overall marketing strategy by aligning digital initiatives with our campaigns. Your skills in website project management, SEO and SEM, database management, and social media advertising will allow you to make an immediate impact and add significant value to our team.
We are looking for an experienced digital marketer who is highly organised, knowledgeable in SEO and SEM, and understands the user journey and digital interactions with our brand. Reporting to the Project and Marketing Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Project Management: Oversee website updates to continuously improve user experience, ensuring that traffic and conversion KPIs are achieved. Collaborate with an external web developer.
SEO & SEM Management: Monitor, manage, and enhance the performance of SEO and SEM campaigns.
Data-Driven Insights: Use analytics to guide digital initiatives, optimise strategies, and achieve KPIs.
Direct Marketing: Manage CRM contacts and execute direct email marketing campaigns.
Social Media Advertising: Oversee paid advertising across various social media platforms, ensuring alignment with our marketing campaigns.
Digital Surveys: Conduct and prepare surveys to gather feedback on digital initiatives.
Skills & Experience Needed
Project Management: Strong organisational skills to manage website updates, coordinate with external web developers, and ensure continuous improvement in user experience.
SEO & SEM Expertise: In-depth knowledge of search engine optimisation and search engine marketing techniques to effectively monitor, manage, and enhance campaign performance.
Analytical Skills: Ability to utilise data and analytics to drive digital initiatives, refine marketing strategies, and meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
Direct Marketing Experience: Proficiency in managing CRM systems and executing targeted email marketing campaigns.
Social Media Advertising: Experience in planning and executing paid advertising campaigns across multiple social media platforms, ensuring they align with broader marketing goals.
Understanding of User Experience (UX): A strong grasp of the user journey and how to optimise digital touchpoints to improve customer interactions and engagement.
Survey Design and Analysis: Skills in conducting digital surveys to gather feedback and insights, and the ability to analyse results to inform future digital strategies.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in digital marketing initiatives and data management.
Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly adapt to changing digital trends and solve challenges as they arise.
