Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the role acts as the key conduit between finance, IT and P&C, specifically in relation to systems, processes and data.
A primary focus of the role is to drive compliance, controls, and operational excellence, while identifying opportunities to redesign, simplify, digitize, and continuously enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Shared Services function.
As Cabrini continues to expand, this position will ensure our shared service operations are enabled, scalable and optimised to support our strategic plans of continued growth.
Key responsibilities: Strategic management of Payroll, People Operations and HRIS teams through provision of quality, timely, compliant and effective service delivery.
Oversee the HRIS program of work and annual/cyclic HR and payroll activities.
Provide strong and engaging leadership to attract, develop and retain a highly skilled, motivated and efficient team driven by positive employee experience.
Strategically manage and provide authoritative technical and policy advice and reporting to internal and external stakeholders (including executive and board level) Chair and participate in relevant project groups, management meetings and committees.
Enhance and improve the delivery of HR Services and Payroll services through targeted initiatives, continuous improvement focus and system health reviews to ensure HR and Payroll solution integrity.
Governance owner for data and process integrity with focus on risk review and mitigation and controls.
About you Success in the role will require a confident and collaborative leadership style, strong problem solving capability and technology literacy.
In addition, you will have: Experience managing enterprise-wide Payroll and HR professionals in a complex organisation.
A deep understanding of HR and payroll operations and processes.
Experience in the management of a top tier HRIS and working across multiple integrated systems (experience with Workday, Chris21 and Dimensions will be highly regarded).
Experience driving change of significant processes and systems with wide reaching impacts, risk and complexity.
Experience in redesigning and driving operational efficiencies and effectively executing organisational change in a medium-large sized organisation.
Excellent client-centric stakeholder management skills with an ability to influence at an Executive level to meet desired business outcomes.
Exceptional analytical and conceptual skills.
