About the role We are looking for Disability Support Workers and Team Leaders in our supported independent living arrangements across multiple locations in suburbs of Melbourne, particularly in Reservoir and Frankston, and the city of Geelong, Victoria, to provide 24/7 support in the home and out in the community.
The support worker's role and responsibilities will include: Supporting people with personal care and day-to-day activities in the home and out in the community Providing positive behaviour support to our clients Completing appropriate documentation through shift notes, incident reporting, and data collection Contributing to the team's overall objective of providing the best outcomes for our clients Working with your team leader to implement and review plans around daily service provision Maintaining a professional relationship with clients and adhering to the NDIS and company code of conduct Being responsive, reliable, and accountable to our clients and your team What we offer: Part-time/Casual positions Competitive Pay Rates up to $44.39/hour Weekend Rate: up to $79.90 11% super 5 weeks Annual Leave Onsite Training Opportunities for Career Progression Qualification/Experience: Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care or Higher (or the ability to acquire an appropriate qualification) Mental Health Experience Prader-Willi syndrome experience Problem-Solving Skills Challenging Behavior Experience Verbal/Written Communication and Relationship Building Skills If you think this sounds like you, please apply!
