Team Leaders/Supervisors (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) Join a large Australian owned iconic brand based in Koroit Be an influential decision maker on site Lead a tight knit crew to ensure targets are met Permanent, full-time position The Role Bega's Koroit site manufactures a range of dairy products including skimmed and full cream milk powders, buttermilk powders, milk protein concentrate, lactoferrin powder, retail milk powders, anhydrous milk fat, liquid cream and butter.
We have a unique opportunity for a new Distribution Manager to join the team at Bega in Koroit! This role leads a team of 14 staff who provide effective storage of materials and finished goods the site needs.
A large part of this role is ensuring the centre runs smoothly and that everything is in order.
Building strong working relationships with key external contractors is also critical to this role.
This position works Monday to Friday but is on call outside these hours.
Responsibilities Lead the team of DC operators to ensure all tasks are done correctly, to the highest standard and work through any issues that arise Ensure the efficient operation of palletising, product wrapping and pallet storage of finished product by DC operators Liaise closely with the Production Planner and Production Managers and communicate clearly and in a timely fashion with operators regarding production scheduling Ensure that all works carried out by contractors are completed in specification and on budget Build strong working relationships with key external contractors, including offsite storage, freight transport companies and forklift hire providers About you Previous experience in a people management role - warehouse, logistics or distribution environment would be beneficial M3 or SAP experience - critical Strong communication skills and can build strong relationships easily Previous experience managing budgets Bega Group Story Bega Group is home to many trusted and iconic food and beverage brands.
