About the Role An exciting new opportunity has become available for a Divisional Governance & Excellence Manager to join our Site Transition team.
Reporting to the Program Director - Site Transition, you will be a key member of the Site Transition leadership team.
The purpose of the business unit is to plan, facilitate and execute the safe and responsible closure, decommissioning, demolition and rehabilitation of AGL's portfolio of assets.
Your role will be instrumental in leading relevant Integrated Energy strategic priorities and provide expertise and advice to ensure informed decision making for key strategic areas.
The role has the flexibility to be based either on site in Muswellbrook NSW, Torrens Island SA or our corporate offices in Adelaide, Melbourne or Sydney.
Your key responsibilities will be: Lead the creation of a Centre of Excellence approach for the Site Transition Business Unit through the creation of foundational systems, culture and skillsets.
Provide leadership by influencing a proactive HSE culture and supporting the development of a fit-for-purpose Site Transition HSE management system.
Establish and drive the Project Management Framework specifically for AGL's Site Transition portfolio.
Proactively lead and embed the principles, requirements, and objectives of AGL's governance, risk, legal and compliance frameworks across Site Transition.
Lead the formation and delivery of the Sustainability Framework inclusive of key objectives and reporting tools in collaboration with the team.
About You To be successful, you'll have: Demonstrated experience within general business management, developing strategies and plans and understanding of key business drivers.
Experience in leading governance processes, risk management, ESG and reporting.
Experience in complex, high-profile and large-scale operational, construction or demolition environments projects.
Proven people leadership skills.
Effective project management capabilities.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Relevant tertiary qualifications (eg.
MBA, Corporate Affairs, Legal) are highly regarded.
