About the role: We are looking for experienced Endorsed Enrolled Nurses to join our casual bank at our Geelong homes at Eden Park in Whittington and The Vue in Grovedale.
You will be working within an inclusive and supportive team of Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Personal Carers, General Practitioners, Allied Health professionals, residents, and their families to deliver high-quality clinical and personal care to residents of Luson.
About you: You are an APHRA Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with strong clinical leadership skills.
As an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse, you will work with the care team to maintain a high standard of contemporary care and compliance.
You will confidently guide the care staff through your leadership and monitoring.
You have an ongoing learning and continuous improvement philosophy and a person-centered approach.
You are enthusiastic and dedicated to making a difference.
To be considered for this opportunity, you are required to meet the following criteria: Passionate about providing evidence-based care in collaboration with the rights of the resident, their family, and healthcare providers to make informed decisions about their choice of care and services.
Provide care to assist residents in maintaining their independence and dignity related to activities of daily living and lifestyle according to their individual care plans, Aged Care Standards, and policies/procedures of Luson.
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, written, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience in team building and coordination.
Experience with AACQA accreditation standards, quality systems, and continuous improvement.
Demonstrated understanding of legislative and regulatory requirements in the aged care sector.
To be the successful candidate, you must meet the position requirements as well as provide a current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Both Influenza and COVID-19 Vaccinations (including Booster) are mandatory at Luson.
