About the role This program is designed to assist Enrolled and Registered Nurses to transition into the Acute Inpatient hospital settings.
The program offers a unique opportunity to enhance your acute nursing skills and knowledge through an intensive, tailored training program.
What you bring Prior acute care or hospital experience is not needed; however, successful applicants must be able to demonstrate the following: Your commitment to safe patient centred care; Clinical skills and knowledge that positively impacts on the patient experience; An ability to adapt to the changing clinical environment; An ability to positively collaborate and contribute as part of a multidisciplinary team; An ability to communicate effectively with patients/family/carers, visitors and staff at all levels within the organisation (both verbal, written and electronic); An ability to promote a safe working environment and safe work practices to minimise risks; Our South West Healthcare values.
