This advertisement is specifically seeking 3 x ESI Transmission/Distribution Lineworkers to assist our substation crews on a permanent basis to build gantries and transmission/distribution line entries into terminal and zone substations.
Pathways to become Power System Electricians and Substation Fitters are available for willing candidates, including upskilling workers to hold dual Transmission & Distribution qualifications.
This work will require the team to be away from home predominantly in country areas where electrical infrastructure is being built for the energy transition.

Conditions are in line with Victorian utilities for site-based employees: 36 Hour Week 9 Day fortnight Penalty rates at double time To be successful in this role you will require the following: Cert III Significant exposure to the Electrical Supply Industry in your role Valid Australian Drivers License/ HR License Electrical Supply Industry (ESI) Passport & training (preferred) The successful applicant will have the highest regard for safety and be required to actively contribute to HSE activities to ensure health, safety, and wellbeing for yourself and others.
You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proven track record of working cohesively in a team environment.
The successful applicant will have proficiency in reading detailed project scopes, material order processes, and managing project schedules.
As part of the recruitment process, suitable applicants will be required to complete pre-employment medical testing, including drug and alcohol screening.
The salary package will be commensurate with experience.
